Each day we are forced to improve ourselves to meet the demands of our own expectations as well as the expectations of those around us. The vital link between us and other people is communication. If we are unsuccessful with our communications, it is very likely that we will be unsuccessful with just about every other area of our life that involves people. Unfortunately, successfully articulating our thoughts and feelings is a challenging job. Add to that the challenge of comprehending others with empathy and we can see why effective communication is not an easy task.
Productive Communications is a two-day workshop in which you will investigate your individual, unique style of communicating. Exercises designed to gain insightful understanding of how and why our communications are not effective highlight the first portion of the workshop.
With our added insights we can design a strategy for improving our communications wherever we are most likely to experience a breakdown. Participants have the opportunity to combine their own unique knowledge of themselves with the knowledge and understanding they have gained about others. In this way, we can ensure that any changes we make include the well-being of both yourself and those people important to you.
